Thrifty Finds

One of my favorite pastimes (much to my husband's chagrin), is looking for hidden "treasures" by way of Craigslist, Freecycle, thrift stores, garage sales, or sometimes even on the side of the road.  Friends of mine have known me to brag on the (cheap!) cost of new home furniture additions- probably too much!  I don't know what it is, but the feeling that I get when I score an awesome piece at an amazing price can only be described as triumph - like I've somehow conquered the big box retailers and found a way around their high prices.  Now don't get me wrong - I love Pottery Barn and Ballard as much as the next design enthusiast - I just don't currently have the budget to fill my home with their pieces, so I have to get creative.  Below you will find links to some of my thrifty finds that I've documents on this blog.  Enjoy - and I hope I can inspire you to take the road less traveled in search for your next perfect piece (or drop me a line - I'd love to help you with the search!).
